So here I am at the dealer about to purchase a brand new
vehicle. My old car was a good one, but after being having it's
frame and axle bent in a car accident, (that by the way wasn't
my fault, but that's another story...) my old car was just never
the same. It was about time I moved on, and got myself a brand
new vehicle.
So I'm going through the usual list of standard options, and
things I just got to have in this new car, when a guy car
browsing next to me says, "Nice vehicle. Going to keep ...

With 500 horsepower, GM says the 2006 Corvette Z06 is the
fastest, most powerful car ever offered by the automaker. The
car can zip from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than four
seconds and fly through the quarter-mile in less than 12 seconds
with a top speed of more than 190 mph on a racetrack.
"We buy watches that cost thousands of dollars and don't tell
time better than a $20 Swatch," said Bob Lutz, vice chair of
General Motors Corporation. It's the same thing with
high-horsepower cars. You ...

I was actually a passenger in a car that was having an active
oil leak. The driver knew what was happening, and was warned to
pull to the side of the road and call a tow truck, but she
wanted to try to make it home. Unfortunately, she didn't. The
engine seized up, never to run again. What a foolish and costly
mistake.
The simple fact is that the engine in your car cannot run
without lubrication from oil. Heat and friction would, as
illustrated in the case above, cause the engine to come to ...

Over all my years of driving the one thing that still causes me
the most concern is when I hear a new noise. This drives me
particularly crazy every spring. After months of having the
windows rolled up it's very disconcerting when you first roll
down the window to get a whiff of that fresh springtime air and
you start hearing all those noises you car makes, and perhaps
has been making all winter long. Then you start to think "what's
that noise?", "how long has it been doing that?"
You drive ...

Designing a functional prototype from an idea in such a short
time was challenging. It was a tremendous feeling when
everything functioned as designed the first time' said Brett
Wallihan, MillenWorks Design Engineer, 'You just don't expect a
vehicle to rotate around its own axis like that. It was surreal.'
This statement summed up for the high praises and awe the crowd
bestowed on the Jeep Hurricane took center stage at the Detroit
